How much do we really know about King Solomon? We will use the imaginative force of modern midrash to explore, uncover, and read between the lines to draw out the full texture of this great, wise, and eventually failed King. Let us ask questions about King Solomon’s worldview and reflect with our own contexts to understand the life he lived, the characters he met, and the incredible influence he had, and still has, on the Jewish people and the world to this very day.
New students are welcome to join the class at any point in the year.
