The Wisdom of King Solomon

Taught by Rabbi Elaine Zecher

Thursdays, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Meets monthly, starting November 5
Free class via Zoom

God endowed Solomon with wisdom in great measure, understanding as vast as the sands on the shore of the sea.  So says, I Kings 5:10.

What was that wisdom and how did King Solomon employ it?  We will explore the facets of his wisdom in the stories of his life and delve into what the wise King wrote (or at least was attributed to him.)  We will examine various passages in Song of Songs, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes.  Wisdom is splendid if you have it.  Through our study, we will try to discover ways to acquire it for ourselves.  New students are welcome to join the class at any point in the year.

2020-2021 Class Meeting Dates:
