… sacrifice your beloved son, Isaac. What?! Today in class we explored the rest of our Godly Plan lesson on the Great Family. We learned of the ALMOST sacrifice of Issac, the death of Abraham and Sarah, the introduction of Rebekkah, and how the Great Family (which we are all a part of) is more numerous than the grains of sand in the desert.
We paired up with Tamar’s first grade class this week! It was so nice to get to know the other section of first grade and get to work with them. Every student chose a buddy from the other class to sit next to and work next to – it was so much fun, we plan on making it a monthly event!
Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes
We learned/reviewed the Hebrew Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes as a large group! Interested in learning too? Same tune but try “Rosh, K’tfayim, Birkayim, Etzba’ot, Birkayim, Etzba’ot. Rosh, K’tfayim, Birkayim, Etzba’ot, Birkayim, Etzba’ot. Aynayim, Oznayim, Peh, v’Af, Rosh, K’tfayim, Birkayim, Etzba’ot, Birkayim, Etzba’ot.”
