Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ)
Our Mission:
The mission of the Women of Reform Judaism of Temple Israel is to be a forum for women of all ages to connect and support each other, as they give voice to issues that effect, and are of concern to, Jewish women. We accomplish this by:
- Raising awareness on these issues through education and discussion,
- Creating settings which foster social connections between women,
- Providing on-going support to activities and efforts that meet our mission and serve the needs of Temple Israel, and the broader Jewish community.
Women of Reform Judaism of Temple Israel, an affiliate of Women of Reform Judaism: The Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, welcomes women of all ages who are connected with Temple Israel, regardless of religion, race, sexual orientation, or temple membership.
When you join WRJTI you become part of a national and international network of 100,000 women in 14 countries who work to create a stronger worldwide Jewish community. You become a partner in the work of Reform Judaism and its institutions, including the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and ARZA, and advocate of women's and children's rights, and a supporter of endangered Jewish communities. You take a stand on critical domestic and international issues.
