I recently had the pleasure of attending a book reading by Penny Rosenwasser, author of: Hope Into Practice: Jewish Women Choosing Justice Despite Our Fears. She gave a very engaging presentation, and I recommend hearing her, if she comes to your neighborhood.
The book is both a history of the Jews and antisemitism, with her own story, woven throughout. I’m very moved by her very authentic struggle, to be true to all of her identities while participating in struggles to combat racism and antisemitism in a number of contexts.
And, yes, we have a copy in our library! It is also available as an e-book.
