Israel and the Peace Process
4 Mondays, April 2, 9, 23 and 30.
with David Matz

Focused on how the Israeli government works in relationship to the peace process, this course will examine the ways in which the Israeli government is organized; the relationship between the government and Israeli society; and the history of the peace process since the 1993 Oslo Accords.  Learn from an "active dispute intervenor" who has applied the approaches of mediation and negotiation to the peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians and has worked extensively with Arab and Jewish groups, here and abroad. Professor Matz will also be delivering the annual Feinberg lecture on Friday, May 4, 2012.

Support for this course provided by the Carole Diamond Education Fund.
