Dan Okrent talks with Ted Reinstein about how old Jews telling jokes became an unlikely YouTube sensation, and how he and co-creator Peter Gethers transformed this phenomenon into the off-Broadway hit Old Jews Telling Jokes, a revue that pays tribute to and reinvents classic Jewish humor. Okrent also talks about the twists and turns of his own surprising career - from the fi rst public editor of The New York Times to inventor of fantasy baseball to award-winning historian and now to theater producer. Ted Reinstein is a correspondent for Chronicle, the nightly news magazine, as well as an actor and playwright.
