Get Involved
There are so many opportunities to become an active member of Temple Israel. Whether participating in a class, volunteering for a committee or attending a service, there is a place for you. Below you will find many ways to get involved. If you are not sure what to attend or how to get involved, please contact Jamie Darsa and she will help to guide you.
The Temple Israel community resides in three houses (or beitim) that overlap with and support one another:
- Beit Tefillah: A House of Worship
- Beit Midrash: A House of Study
- Beit Knesset: A House of Gathering (Community)
Beit Tefillah: House of Worship
Shabbat
- Celebrate Shabbat with beautiful music, moments of reflection, and the company of others.
- Qabbalat Shabbat every Friday evening at 5:45 p.m.
- Shabbat Morning Service & Torah Study every Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
- Thank Goodness Its Shabbat (created for families with children 0-6 years old): 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month @ 10 a.m.
- Weekday Minyan
- Occurs every Monday through Thursday @ 6:15 p.m.
