A Shabbat Service in Honor of our WWII Veterans

Qabbalat Shabbat Service 
Honoring Our World War II Veterans and Their Families
May 7, 5:45 p.m.

Please plan to join us for Qabbalat Shabbat this Friday to honor the service and the memories of our World War ll Veterans, their spouses and children. Saturday, May 8, is the 65th anniversary of V.E. (Victory in Europe) Day.  Help us pay homage to those of "the greatest generation" who are still among us and to remember those who live on in our hearts.

Harriet Greenfield and Pam Goodman of our Museum Committee, with the assistance of Temple Israel's Archives, have created a wonderful exhibit of pictures and memorabilia lent to us by Temple Israel Veterans and Families of Veterans.  It will remain on display in the Smith Lobby Atrium during the next weeks as an expression of our gratitude and pride.
