Our Week in Review

March 28 brought the 2014 Rudolph H. and Sara G. Wyner Lecture. Our guest was Lee Rotenberg (above, fourth from left), daugther of longtime members Bonnie and Jon Rotenberg and Founding Director of ArtSetters. She spoke about Israel's Start-up (Art) Nation and a burgeoning worldwide community of creative leaders. See the video below:

March 15 - 16 was Purim weekend here at TI. The BeaTIes invaded, with adults and children alike joining in the fun for the evening event and the Annual Religious School Carnival. Enjoy the pictures below. See more photos here by Danielle Nykerk.

On Saturday afternoon, prior to these events, ten adults and three Religious School students* from the Caring Community came together to cook and prepare bags for Shalach Manot. The group made homemade hamentashen as well as knishes for bags of Purim goodies to send to 36 elders in our community. The group had fun in the preparation and those receiving the bags were delighted to be remembered by Temple Israel.
